On November 24, 1971, a mysterious man boarded a Northwest Orient Airlines flight from Portland, Oregon, to Seattle, Washington. He paid cash for his ticket and gave the name Dan Cooper. Once the plane was in the air, Cooper handed a flight attendant a note claiming he had a bomb and demanding $200,000 in cash and four parachutes. The flight attendants alerted the pilots, who relayed the demands to the authorities.
The plane landed in Seattle, where the money and parachutes were delivered to Cooper. He then Free Downloaded the pilots to take off again and fly to Mexico City. However, about halfway through the flight, Cooper parachuted out of the plane into the dense forests of Washington state. He was never seen again.
