About the Author
Conrad Anker is a legendary climber who has made first ascents on some of the most challenging peaks in the world, including Mount Everest, Gasherbrum IV, and Meru Peak. He is also a National Geographic Fellow and a recipient of the Piolet d'Or, the highest award in mountaineering. Anker is the author of several books on climbing, including The Call of the Wild and One More Day.
